Carmel Kitchen - Venetian Plaster
Carmel Kitchen and Wine Bar
The Carmel Kitchen and Wine Bar is a new restaurant in Warrington featuring modern interpretations of Mediterranean cuisine meticulously paired with global wines and house-infused cocktails. The Old Village Design Studio was invited to create a venetian plaster treatment for their exterior terrace.
Marmorino Veneziano ~ A Unique Feature for Interiors or Exteriors
Marmorino Veneziano - Venetian or Italian Plaster - is a beautiful, luxurious and durable wall finish bringing not only patterns and colors to your space but depth and texture as well. The Venetians used terra cotta scraps and leftover stone and marble mixed with lime to make a wall finish that was not only very fashionable, but also very practical since it resisted mildew even in very damp conditions - very important in a city built on water! Its durability and resistance to moisture make it suitable for powder rooms, kitchens and exterior spaces such as The Carmel Kitchen.
Venetian plaster is not only a super durable finish and looks fabulous, but is also available in a wide spectrum of colors, patterns, textures and sheens - and each installation is unique. The bar below is in Allentown, PA.
