Not Dip and Strip!
- No Liquid Immersion! - this process does not involve liquid solvents or immersing your pieces in liquid
- No Residual Chemicals being brought back into your house or remaining trapped in the wood in your home
- No Brown Ooze or Damage - our process does not dissolve glues or penetrate your wood. Some of the chemicals used in liquid processes can penetrate crevices in the wood, this can later ooze out of the wood or start dissolving the paint. On exterior facing items like entrance doors, windows and shutters this damage to the paint opens a path for additional moisture that damages your wood. (This Old House, The Craftsman Blog)
- No Discoloration - some other processes use caustic lye which can change the color of your wood.(Wood Web) This can be a real issue with furniture or doors that you would like to stain. Not an issue with EnvelloStrip™.
