Sellersville - 1894 Theater Restoration Painting
1894 Sellersville Theater Restoration
The Sellersville Theater 1894 was originally built as a livery stable in 1894 where guests at the Washington Inn could park their horses. When horses got replaced by automobiles it was converted into a theater (dates are fuzzy) and later into a movie theater. The movie theater burned down in 1970 but was rebuilt and re-opened in 1972 as the Cinema 1894. This theater closed at some point, but the building was restored and re-opened in the 2000s as the Sellersville Theater 1894.
We painted the exterior of the theater marquee, doors and the front facade
We also painted the interior including the beautiful lobby
