c1850s Townhouse on Delancey Place
Old Village worked with designer Ashli Mizell and Cherokee Construction on a renovation of this gorgeous mid 19th century town home on Delancey Place near Rittenhouse Square.
Old Village painted the interior and exterior using high gloss black from Fine Paints of Europe on the upstairs doors, interior windows, and floorboards; and lighter, but still glossy colors on the intricately carved mantels and crown moldings on the first floor. Our Design Studio added to the uniqueness of this home by creating a palette of special finishes including a beautiful custom stain for the front doors, a light wood wash for the wood panels in the family room, and a stunning venetian plaster in the foyer.
Church to Residence
Old Village Master Painters helped convert the c1877 Fifth Church of Christ Scientist into a private residence.
Old Village Master Painters worked with Cherokee Construction to convert this 19th century church in the Fitler Square/Rittenhouse Square neighborhood into a private residence. We did all exterior painting, and restored and refinished wood panels, ceiling beams, and ornamental work inside.
