The exterior of The Athenaeum a private library and National Historic Landmark around the corner from Independence Hall was described as "severely plain", at least until the Old Village Design Studio restored and created a beautiful new finish for the front doors.

1850s Office Window Restoration
This c1840s town home on Rittenhouse Square is being converted for use as a law office.
Old Village restored 25 original windows to make the building more energy efficient, remove the lead paint hazard, maintain the mid 19th century character, make the windows functional again and help preserve them for maybe another 160 years.
