Old Village recently had the pleasure to work on the interior of the National Historic Landmark Hope Lodge. Like many older buildings, Hope Lodge has some interesting details - like old curved plaster walls - that needed restoration. See photo at top of page.

Plaster after Wallpaper Removal
This neo-colonial home in Chestnut Hill had layers of old wallpaper on top of original plaster. After removing the old wallpaper we restored the plaster and gave the interior a beautiful paint job

Shutter Restoration
A good part of this old shutter had completely rotted out. We saved it by replacing the rotted wood on the frame using a dutchman repair and reproducing the louvers. After some high quality paint this old farm house shutter is as good as new
